The 12Axes test
The 12Axes test turns political statements into twelve separate readings rather than one left-versus-right score. This guide explains what happens before, during, and after a run.
12Axes does not put its basic result behind an account or a card. This page separates the free test from the optional written reports so the boundary is clear before you start.
Short answer: Yes. The political test, twelve axis scores, profile comparisons and shareable result card are free. Optional written reports are one-time purchases; no subscription is required to take or share the test.
Free also means the result is not conditional on a trial that expires. You can finish, read, share and retake the test without buying a report.
The optional products are written reports. Personal is $4.99, Plus is $14.99, and Deep is shown as a $29.99 preview rather than an available purchase. Each paid report is a one-time product, not a subscription.
Prices shown here are read from the same pricing model used by the result page, so this guide cannot quote a stale number. The full feature comparison and current sale notes appear on the homepage pricing section.
You do not pay to open the test, see your axis positions, view your profile match, generate the share card, or retake the test. A report is only offered after the result exists.
For data handling, the important boundary is different: scoring happens in your browser, while the site uses analytics for product measurement. Read the privacy policy and the cookie policy before using the optional paid features.
Currently Personal Report ($4.99) and Plus Report ($14.99) are on sale. Deep is a preview because its full answer-evidence design depends on information the test does not retain after scoring.
The explanation above is easier to judge against your own answers than against an abstract example. Choose a run length and see which political values move for you.

No. The free result covers all 12 axes. Run length changes how many statements probe each axis, not how many axes are scored.
Yes. The result page includes a shareable link and a downloadable result card. Remember that a public result link reveals the encoded political profile to anyone who receives it.

A 12Axes result contains twelve positions, ranked comparisons and a shareable link. This guide explains how to read those pieces without treating the profile as a scientific verdict.
12Axes exists to make a political profile easier to explain and argue with: twelve defined dimensions, transparent comparisons, and clear limits on what a result means.

The test is free, needs no account, and scores your answers in this browser. Start with the recommended run, or take the longest one when two ideologies sit close together.
