Privacy Policy
This page explains what 12Axes does with data. The short version: you can take the test without an account, and your answers are scored in your own browser rather than sent to us.

What we collect
- No account. There is no sign-up, no password and no email wall. We do not ask for your name, address, date of birth or phone number to use the test.
- Your answers. The test and its scoring run in your browser. Your individual answers are not transmitted to us, and we cannot reconstruct them.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to see which pages and which test versions are used, and how far people get through the test. Both set cookies, and Clarity records replays of how pages are used. We run no advertising or social media tracking.
What is stored on your own device
So that an unfinished run is not lost, the test saves your progress in your browser's local storage, and your last result is saved the same way. This stays on your device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Analytics
Two third-party services measure how the site is used: Google Analytics 4 (Google) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft). They record page views and a small number of product events — which test version was started, whether it was finished, and which report tier was viewed — and Clarity additionally records heatmaps and replays of clicks, scrolling and timing.
Your answers and your result are not sent to either service. The score code carried in a result link (?s=…) is stripped out before any page view is recorded, and the profile card on the result page is masked in Clarity recordings, so a replay never shows your twelve axes. The Cookie Policy lists the cookies these two services set.
Result links and link previews
When you copy or share a result, the twelve scores are encoded directly into the link, after /results?s=. The code contains your twelve scores and which version you took — no name, email address or account identifier.
Because the scores are part of the URL, anyone you send the link to can see them, and the app or platform you paste it into may store it. If a link is unfurled for a preview card, the preview image is generated on our server from the scores in that URL.
Payments and Waffo
The paid reports are one-off purchases, and payment processing is handled by Waffo, our payment and subscription provider. When you pay, your card details are entered with and processed by Waffo. 12Axes does not receive or store your full card number or other complete payment credentials.
We receive the confirmation of your order and the contact details you gave the processor, which is what allows us to deliver the report you bought. Waffo handles your payment data under its own privacy policy.
If you write to support@12axes.io or to the abuse address, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to answer you and for nothing else.
Server logs
Like any website, the servers that deliver 12Axes may record standard request information such as IP address, browser type and timestamps. This is ordinary hosting data, used to keep the site available and secure.
Your choices
Because we do not hold accounts, results or answers, there is normally nothing on our side to correct or delete. You can clear the saved run and result at any time through your browser's site data settings. You can also email us with any question about this policy and we will answer.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data — for example when payment checkout goes live — we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
